WE CELEBRATED OUR 6TH TRADITIONAL

WE CELEBRATED OUR 6TH TRADITIONAL

We have left behind the 6th edition of the "1 Night at School" camp, one of the most beloved and eagerly awaited traditional events of Denge Schools, with great enthusiasm and joy. Organized in our campus garden with the participation of our middle school students, our students had an unforgettable experience together with their friends and teachers.

The Campus Area Was Filled with Colorful Tents

With the start of the event, the open areas of our campus almost turned into a campsite with colorful tents. Our students, who set up their tents in cooperation with their friends, had the opportunity to experience co-living and cooperation skills in a fun way. Following the camp setup, joyful sounds echoed throughout our campus all day long with entertaining group games, Monopoly tournaments, and bingo events.

Traditional Campfire and Live Music Joy

The traditional campfire lit in the evening set the stage for the most unforgettable moments of the event. Our students sang songs in unison accompanied by a live guitar performance around the fire, and then showcased their energy with music and dance shows. After the camp classic sucuk-bread (Turkish pepperoni and bread) and meatball treats, the happiness of our children roasting marshmallows (s'mores with chocolate and marshmallows between biscuits) by the fire could be read on their faces.

Open-Air Cinema and Sleeping Under the Stars

In the later hours of the night, an open-air cinema experience was enjoyed on a giant screen set up in the campus garden. Watching a movie outdoors accompanied by their popcorn, our students retreated to their tents after the cinema and shared the excitement of sleeping under the stars and spending the night at school.

"1 Night at School" Through the Eyes of Our Students

Our students, both those who shared this excitement in previous years and those attending for the first time this year, expressed their feelings with the following words: "We felt as if we were in a real nature camp, not at school. Sharing the same tent with our friends, singing by the fire, and watching a movie outdoors was amazing. It was a night we never wanted to end."

We would like to thank all our administrators, teachers, and support staff who contributed to this wonderful organization that provides our students with independence, responsibility, and strong friendship bonds, as well as all our students who beautified the night with their energy.

We look forward to meeting at our next traditional camp to collect new memories!
