HUMAN RIGHTS
In 1946, the Human Rights Commission was established within the United Nations with the aim of promoting human rights. Human rights, which hold an important place in the United Nations Charter, were first specifically addressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948. This text emerged as a result of the need for a document that would reflect the contemporary understanding of human rights and contain standards applicable to all United Nations member states. The level of civilization a country reaches is equivalent to the respect shown to the rights of its people. Fundamental rights and freedoms are protected by many national and international conventions and monitoring mechanisms. The fundamental rights and freedoms of people should be above all interests and concerns. All people, wherever they are in the world, have the right to live equally, freely, and with dignity. As Denge Schools, with these feelings and thoughts, we fully support the spread and establishment of Human Rights and celebrate this meaningful day.
