CREATIVE WRITING TAXONOMY PART 2

While creating the Story Mountains, in the "I AM BUILDING A WORLD": Application Stage, after the groundwork of the story is laid, the basic elements are completed by placing the setting, time, and characters into the story. Throughout December, students focus on characters, time periods, and setting designs.

The decisions are discussed with the teacher, and work is done to complete the elements most suitable for the story. From the identified elements, those suitable for transitioning to the writing process in the application stage are determined by the student.

The moment we say "I am writing," in the "TAKE ACTION": This process, which corresponds to the analysis stage, begins with the completion of the story elements, and the story mountains are created by adding story structures to the exposition-rising-resolution sections.

The story mountains, created with different event situations, are continued throughout January under the teacher's supervision, paying attention to grammar rules.

In this writing process, care is taken to ensure that all parts of the story are consistent and follow each other. It is considered that the exposition section affects the rising action section, and the rising action section affects the resolution section.

While Writing My Story, That Moment, A WRITER IS BORN: The works created are examined with the students, and the Synthesis Stage process is initiated.

The processes other writers experience while creating their works, the struggles of producing their works, and the stages writers go through are examined. The environments in which students write their works are explained; and the methods those who write on paper should follow to transfer their works to a digital format are also explained.

This activity process continues from the beginning of the second semester in February and throughout March. Everything the student experiences during the process becomes a part of the resulting work. The influence of daily life events or imagination on different parts of the work is discussed.
